Mohammad Aladpoush (Directors of photography )

He is among the best directors of photography in the Iranian cinema. Farabi Cinema Foundation consults him before buying new cameras and many Iranian directors work with him when they want to make different films. His latest work was As Simple as This (Reza Mirkarimi) was appreciated by experts. Last year, he shot Abolqasem Talebi’s Empty Hands and his photography was among strong points of the film. After Fajr International Film Festival, he started shooting The Shell for Mostafa Al-e Ahmad and A Span of the Sky (Ali Vazirian), whose public screening would be soon. He started his professional career with Report on a Murder (Mohammad Ali Najafi, 1987) and among his prominent works one can mentioned The Key (Ebrahim Forouzesh), The Land of the Sun (Ahmad Reza Darvish), and Gavkhoni (Behrouz Afkhami).
